Oxford Picture Dictionary for the Content Areas, Canadian Edition Reproducible Activity Book

Dorothy Kauffman, Ph.D, is a consultant with the Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) in Washington, DC. Through CAL, she advocates for instruction that integrates the teaching of language and content, and she conducts professional development workshops with K-8 ESL and mainstream teachers. A former elementary school teacher, reaing teacher, and reading consultant, she has taught speech, reading, and English composition at the college level. At the undergraduate level, she has taught reading and language arts methods courses and children's literature, and also had supervised student teachers in elementary and middle schools. At the graduate level, she has developed and taught courses in reading and ESL methods.
